Adherence to therapy is reviewed at two weeks, six weeks and three months, because almost all abandonment happens inside the first month.

Time in bed is compressed to match time actually asleep, then widened week by week as efficiency climbs. It is counter-intuitive by design and explained as such in session one.

A lab bed is a scarce resource. Most first questions don’t need one.

Nothing in the course is advice about darkened rooms or herbal tea. Participants are frequently disappointed by this in week one and grateful for it by week six.
